Thanksgiving

Ridged, windswept, twin deserts

marked with spidery mesquite

chiseled rose quartz, blotched purple, brown

Translucent landscape covered with dust

and stones, ropes and bones

These digital landscapes levitate and tremble

inches above the next piecrust.
