Lovely photos of Jane in Santa Cruz.

Hope you are all recovering nicely from the last couple of days
and enjoyed a Merry Christmas.
Ray, Johnny and I are getting ready for a quiet New Year's Eve
here in the Pacific Northwest.
Temperatures in the teens and maybe snow Wednesday or Thursday! Huzzah!

Probably too many cookies or not enough meat, but last night I dreamed about the old days in Holland and all the great burger joints.

I woke up thinking about Muzzy's hamburgers!
Well, I couldn't find photos of Muzzy's, Had's (by E.E. Fell)
or Jack's fifteen cent burgers, but I did find these.

Remember the old drive-in?

Perch sandwich?

How about french fries with gravy?

Cumerford's?

Then I thought about Tulip Time...

and Dutch dancers...

...and Mother working at Hope College...

and Daddy working at Lokker-Rutgers

...and Tunnel park

and the Holland Peanut store (still there)

and whoa, the Pantlind Hotel where
Bob & Kathy got married.

the old theatre...

Ottawa Beach...

..and lastly how about owning
a great big memory of Holland, Mi?
